Up to elbows in Amish Friendship Bread
I vividly remember my innsitting debut at the impeccable Blue Door Inn in Baltimore arriving with my clipboard in hand. What caught my eye were these 2 baggies full of what looked like paste. The innkeeper Roger orientated me on the House as my eyes wandered off to 'those 2 baggies', Well as Roger finally got to the bread instructions my anxiety increased. Day 1,this, Day 6 mix, Day 10 bake...Yowza. Well, I couldn't find Roger's electric mixer so I hand stirred everything patiently and well it was a partial success as the bread turned out a little lumpy. Regardless, the guests loved it.
