Live Arts Maryland Honors 9-11 Anniversary
I am so fortunate to be invited to the weekly women's coffee group, which venue changes based on who is hosting it. This week, my new friend Martha held it, even without having power, and we sat outside among her trees overlooking water that surrounded us, with the birds and crickets in full concert. Again, I felt like I was in a novel. One woman passed around a flyer of her musical group as she has a wonderful voice and will be performing in their HMS Pinafore. However, I need to add the other 9-11 concerts listed: The group is Live Arts Maryland and I added a link at the bottom of this blog. I can't believe the 9-11 anniversary is coming up and this sounds like a wonderful tribute:
On Sunday, September 11, they, (Live Arts Maryland) will present two free concerts under the direction of J. Ernest Green to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and to remember the lives lost that day. Please visit their website for details on the service and the free performance as it couldn't be more appropriate to celebrate such an occasion.
