Chez Amis Policies
Children: Children under 13 cannot be accommodated.
Check In: CHECK IN is from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Later arrival times can be chosen on drop down menu when making a reservation.
Check out: Check out is 11 A. M. The reservation is secured by your credit card. The full amount of the reservation will be due upon check in and can be paid by cash, personal check, credit card or traveler's check.
Cancellations: When agreeing to the terms and conditions, we assess at least a $35 cancellation fee when you cancel any time after making your reservation. Cancellations or 'non-arrivals' made 7 days or less from the scheduled arrival will result in the full amount of the room being charged. For high season periods (Boat Show, Navy events), we require 30 days advance cancellation; IF you cancel within 30 days of these high season events, then you will be charged the full invoice amount.
Deposit policy: Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are required for reservations for more than 2 room nights. The deposit is paid when we confirm the reservation. The deposit equals the cost of the entire reservation less (minus) the cost for a two night stay. If you are unable to make your trip and notify us at least 7 days (30 days for high season reservations) prior to the day of your arrival, your deposit will not be returned but will be kept as credit towards a future reservation. If you cancel within 7 days (30 days for high season reservations) of your arrival, then the Cancellation policy prevails and the Deposit reverts to a Cancellation fee and is not refunded, not returned and not redeemable for a future stay.
Rates: Rates are based on double occupancy. Add $35 for each additional guest.
THIS B&B IS A NON SMOKING FACILITY. A $200 cleaning fee will be accessed for smoking in the B&B or property.
Taxes: Maryland Sales tax and County Hotel Tax applies to all guest stays at their preailing rates..
Pets: Pets are not allowed at Chez Amis. However, we do have a dog, a 40 lb. rescue dog 'Maggie', on the premises.
Breakfast: Breakfast will be at 9:00 A.M. Coffee is set up at 8:00 A.M.
Parking: When you arrive, drive down East Street to our address and park in our "15 MINUTE LOADING ZONE" spot that is right in front of our 85 East Street door. We will help you unload then give you directions to park your car in the city garage which we validate 50% discount ($10/night) at check out. The garage is a 5 MINUTE WALK from us.
