Name the Sea Captain Contest

When our friends, John and Rob, sold their Inn (William Page Inn) down the street, they were thoughtful enough to give us early pick of furniture, artwork and other pieces, that they predicted would not 'fit' in their new Fort Lauderdale home decor. For example, their cherished tall grandfather clock would brand them 'the northerners'' for a while!  And I assume they would get the same reaction with this portrait, so it is in safe surrounds now! 

It is described on the back as 'Sea Merchant but I promoted him to Captain.  He is proudly displayed in 'the Law Library' guest room, where he overlooks your shaving or hair styling (he checks the back). For that he deserves a fine name.

All of this leads me to the Contest! which has been ongoing but I haven't heard any suggestions so I am upping the ante, so to speak. The Contest is to provide a name for this 'unnamed sea captain' . Our judge is 'anonymous' (no bribing) but he will pick the name on Feb. 1, 2012. The winner (e.g. the selected name) will receive a 50% discount on the Law Library room.
